i haven't given them a proper listen yet to be honest..only
a quick one so i can't comment. there's just way too much
new stuff i've been listening lately and there are still
plenty of unopened records i have yet to check that i got at
the start of the week..it's crazy! i'll let you know what i
thought of lpd when i'll give them more listens though!

thanks, i'll download those when i get home!

btw, related to topic; i was just listening to dj shadow's
'organ donor' and im very confident that i just wouldn't get
the same emotion out of it if someone put the same thing in
words some how..music is just superior!

i live in vegas where like one in three people listen to
"electronic" music. that doesn't mean they have good taste.
they mainly listen to gay ass raver shit. i fuckin hate
house music ugh! most dj's are so fucking boring that play
parties out here. GODDAMN I NEED TO GET TABLES AND BLOW
THEIR FUCKING MINDS WITH IDM!

i prefer instrumental to lyrics. lyrics can help a song out
sometimes like if you are bummed out and you listen to punk
it helps you channel your feelings into aggression instead
of wallowing in self pitty. the reason i prefer
instrumentals is that most of the time i don't like being
led around with lyrics like if i'm happy i don't want to put
on beck sea change but that's not to say i wouldn't listen
to something mellow like boc.

there is a time and place for everything you don't need
everyone to agree on something for it to be appreciated.. :)

LPD these days, Tolst ? i'm seeing them locally in about a
month, so i'm quite excited, although their latest album is
NOT that much electronic

gilberto between the two, though i don't mind stereolab, but
