Hi,

I just uploaded a tune I made around 6 months ago. It was
mostly created on a Juno-106, Novation KS5, and an MPC1000
(with a lot of editing afterwards on the PC.)

Would like to hear feedback. :-)

LAZY_TITLE

Please be patient!

This download hasn't been cleared yet. Please check back
tomorrow.

OH. well,

Oh, shit.

Sorry, it's the first time I've used this website. Don't
know what has to be "cleared", or what that means.

Damn.

You could always give it a quick listen in lo-fi. If you
have the time. :)

Just going on the lo.fi version, well it's a bit more
rump-shaking than I'd have imagined. It's like Vangelis
wanted to do slo-mo dancehall ragga. It's perhaps an anime
intro. It's not bad though, not bad at all, it's quite
different from a lot of things so I say credit where
credit's due. Well done Mr Robert Logan.

It's about 2 minutes too long though.

Thanks for listening.

Yeah, I couldn't resist going into a ridiculous wanky 7/8
time section at the end. You're not the first person to say
that it could do without that part.

It does sound a bit awful in lo-fi, but I don't want to
sound like I'm making any excuses. :)

it's very good. it does sound like anime music. and yeah,
it's too long. but other than that, very nice stuff.

it seems as though a lot of work went into it.

well done. i'm going to give the better quality version a
listen when it's available.

Thanks. I'm not going to pretend I made it quickly, because
it did take bloody ages (especially the drums and synth
patches.) I tend to play stuff in live as well, mainly
because I find it less fiddly then sequencing all the
notes.

The anime sound of it probably comes from my general
obession that I had with anime and J-pop a few months ago.
:)

I'd be very greatful if you could give it another listen
when it's available in higher quality, I really don't like
that lo-fi version.

I've actually listened to your work before, as you posted a
link to your page in another thread.

I liked Machine and Rain the most, very nice atmospheres.
You have a very clean sound, reminds me of Plaid (when
you're not doing those more abrasive drill tracks, that is.)
I prefer your quieter melodic stuff. :)

I've basically been a bit obsessed with making music since
the age of 11 or 12. Every Christmas or birthday I'd ask for
a second hand synth, drum machine, or sampler. I'm also
always on the look out for bargains on that sort of
equipment.

Hi,

I've uploaded a few more tracks. I don't think you can
download if you're not registered, but you can still have a
quick listen if you stream the tracks.

Thanks.

I've listened to them too, in low-fi. They're ok.
