i'm sure this has been done countless times before. but
still people are always making better stuff, (ususally).
post the best piece of music you think you have made.

well, i'm not totally sure if it's the very best song
i've ever written, but i think it is. it's really a nice
song. i spent extra time writing it and went really
carefully. okay, here it is: The Best Song I've Ever Written

Haha, don't know which song was my 34th, but it probably
sucked alot.

r40f you've outdone yourself.

so this raises the issue; why are people hesitant to
confidently present their work and say "this is the best
i've done"? is there something inherently wrong with being
satisfied with your work? are you instantly an egomaniac
because you like what you've made?

no and no. there's nothing wrong with any of it.

your best work?

it's a sound recording of me writing the word "song" on my
desk with a marker. i don't have a camera, so i thought an
mp3 of it would be ok. i guess i did it wrong? i don't see
what the big deal is. i wrote it really neatly.

oh! i see now - i should have written "track" not "song"!
my mistake!

hmmm we need a "sad brass" sound effect in here, i
think...

anyway, i wonder if anyone will actually post a track.

Honestly though I used it for like 5 years cause I couldn't
afford proper software and there is a certain charm to
working with massive restrictions, I find the way it works
really useful for 'songwriting' even if the sounds it
produces are a bit weak
