This year my hayfever is at an unbearable level. I can't actually do anything remotely productive becase it's so painful and distracting.
Various pills haven't helped either.
Bloody flowers and grass.

still though, my contact lenses are really fecking me around. SO painful!

Well, I had to vent somewhere. Yelling at grass and random plants was proving to be a bit of a waste of time.

No, not sympathy. Reading the sufferings of others due to hayfever is a lot more effective I find. I haven't tried clarityn...

I was thinking of making a thread on this today! Today was the first time I got it for ages. My eyes are all swolen and puffy and I keep on weeping!

The weeaping eyes thing and the puffyness hasn't been so much of a problem. My areshole nose, however, has been (and a feeling of wanting to sneeze all the time.)
The pills I've tried are "Piriton."

feel your pain. Haven't had it in a while but, yeah, Clarityn stuff is highly recommended... well, mostly by the company but we can overlook that...
Apart from da good ol' acupuncture, and random herbal remedies I can think of, try not to go into high pollen areas in the morning and evening (obvious but oh well). Have frequent showers - splashing your face with cold water and washing your eyes will help to wash away the irritants.
Putting a physical barrier like un-petroleum jelly into the base of the nostrils helps to trap the pollen and prevents it from irritating your nose too badly, as well. Or so says some omniscient person I know.

Oh man. I get it real bad too. It's such a bitch! As well as itchy eyes and nose and running eyes and nose and sneezing all the time I also get really itchy ears, throat and mouth with it. Dodgy...

No pills or steroid nasal sprays or eyedrops seem to be that effective on me to be honest.
