So what do people think about this.

I got it about a year ago but never really connected with
it. I watched it again last night and it really got me. Its
too long possibly, and I don't know if I like the wierd
ending, but there are some fantastic performances in there.
Philip Seymore Hoffman, gawddam, he has got to be my
favourite actor - he was perfect. I got very unmanly at his
emotional scenes I have to say.

Another awesome bit that I missed the first time around -
the date with the policeman and the coke girl, just very
well written and performed. When he just opens up about
losing his gun, hes like a little child, it got me too.

A lot more emotionally affecting than it was the first time
I saw it.

pt anderson's other films are great as well. boogie nights
is possibly better than magnolia and punch-drunk love is a
terrifically dark comedic drama.

I havent seen Boogie Nights but I do love Punch Drunk Love.

There was some talk of him directing 'A Heartbreaking Work
of Staggering Genius' a while back but I haven't heard any
more on that.
