Probably you all have this but for those who didnt know it.
On this siteLAZY_TITLE
you can download about 50-60 minutes of the best set from
aphex ever!! good drill&bass within the end hardcore. Very
good ->you must go to video downloads then select rephlex
disco assault -> and so on

this has been posted two or three times already. i didn't
particularly enjoy it, but maybe some people haven't seen it
yet.

what so shite about it
it is very nice hard music
and it has a good vibe really rough
most of the times aphex is crap live but i do really enjoy
this

it`s not bad as a learning-about-aphex-tool, but the sound
is crap. when the guy, that was recording it is facing the
stage for a longer time it`s definetly not pleasant.

Not only has this been posted several times before but this
isn't the first itme someone has introduced themselves to
the board by mentioning it. I'm not being mean, but I think
Phobia should put something on the registration page like
"Mentioning the Rome live video = Instant b7"

I think it's a cool set, but the quality is so fucking
shitty it's painful.

it is also weird that aphex uses an sony vaio laptop
that is almost alternative because the laptop music scene
almost only uses apple powebooks(something i dont understand
really)

I think it's because he only uses Traktor for these set, and
a powerbook won't fit in his fanny-pack.

I thought he was using Ableton. Wasn't the Rome set an
"improvisation" of sorts?

perhaps, but the show he did in Bergen in '03 was a definite
Traktor-set. right down to the shrinking of loopmarkers or
whatever it's called.

why is this thread a common 'opener' ?

probably because it's a fairly decent find as far as
straight up http downloads are concerned, something which, I
imagine, when people find they think 'wow I can't beleive I
found this, I'd better let all the other afx fans out there
know'

and they come here sign up and fire away,

10 points for best-of-intentions

02 points for execution (most of us already know about it)

it would be nice with some newer soundboard recordings of

right ? only dj ?

there's like 3 really good unreleased tracks from this set

one, cylob played in a set (so i have like a perfect-clear
version of it) but it's extremely short in compare to this.
