Nivea handcream, Imperial Leather soap and coal. They all
remind me of my grandparents.

that's because you're french, i.e. not a complete pleb like
everyone in england. the nearest we get to "culture" is fish
& chips. i was around a friends house the other day and
there was a report from paris on the news, and he says "why
is the blackpool tower in paris?" and laughs, as if the news
programme had made a mistake with the backdrop.

I love the smell of lemons and wood saps. By the way here is
an interesting fact for you all: the smell of lemons is
proven to increase memory efficiency and capacity, so for
all you students out there revise with a cut lemon and in
the exam make sure you stink of the heavenly yellow fruit.

The smell of a new car, a new book, or a new laptop (the
Song Vaio has that wonderful plastic-ey scent to woo you
before breaking down once you turn it on.)

did you also know that the lemon smell molecule is a mirror
image of a pine fresh molecule, this difference is only
important when it comes to the brain having to identify
smells, it's called chirotic(i think)isomerism.
