ATP SE1 Lastnight

An exhausting evening for me in which I did the following:

17.00 Train from Derby to London
20.00 Went in SE1
3.00 Left SE1
7.00 Train back to Derby

I have just arrived back at the door without a wink of kip
all night :(

As for the gig, where the fuck was AFX??!!!!???

Rumours are he didn't turn up, the tunes were banging all
night but I can't help feeling let down by the anti-climax
that AFX didn't seem to appear.

deafened by it

Any analordish, unreleased tracks being played that caught
your ear?

Because I want a recording of this. I really hope someone
got one.

to be honest i thought the music was a fat sack of manly
wank sap.

aphex was up on the right side of the balcony, not even a
gesture to the crowd as far as i could see. he was sitting
left side facing, you could see one of his ear phones.

i went with three mates, we were all seriously disappointed
as is the way with aphex sometimes. started straight off the
bat with some silly drill music, a load of crappy shit in
the middle, one and a half analord tracks as far as i could
tell, i think we may have even left before the end.
certainly the worst aphex set i've ever listened too, all
disjointed, nothing to admire, no climax.

people were just confused, standing there, nothing really
danceable. let's just hope his glade set lives up to last
years... or i might start booing!

everyone was the to see him, £20 ticket, £100 night, pile
of crap.

hi richard, please learn to fly like superman and spin the
world back (and therefore time) in a contrarotational manner
so that you can rethink the tunes you played last night and
give it another go. kthanks
