Stuck on level 59. Not fair. I know what I'm supposed to do,
there's just too much scope and too many variables to solve
it without help from whoever designed it. The fucker.

offline xceque on 2005-06-04 09:00 [#01622458]
Points: 5888 Status: Moderator | Show recordbag

No, the order is top to bottom, left to right, like you'd
expect to read.

Close. Substitue each objects name in place of the alphabet
and do that again :)

i'm assuming the secret to 28 is viewing the full picture so
you can actually read the words, but i don't know what to
get out of it?

offline xceque on 2005-06-04 09:07 [#01622470]
Points: 5888 Status: Moderator | Followup to mappatazee: #01622468 | Show recordbag

No. Clue: try putting 'screensaver' into the URL

But do save the picture cos you'll need to refer back to it
on level 40 :)

offline OK on 2005-06-04 14:10 [#01622741]

yes indeed

offline xceque on 2005-06-04 18:52 [#01622956]
Points: 5888 Status: Moderator | Show recordbag

The answer to level 1 is "note" and on level two click the
coin that's a hyperlink. I don't think too much will be lost
by giving those two away.

53 is the hardest one. Except for fecking 59.

offline mappatazee from ¨y¨z¨| (Burkina Faso) on 2005-06-04 18:53 [#01622958]
Points: 14294 Status: Lurker

Okay screen saver. that's how you save your screen. file
extension? scr.htm? exe.htm? bmp.htm? i don't understand.

offline xceque on 2005-06-04 18:56 [#01622962]
Points: 5888 Status: Moderator | Show recordbag

Try using the .scr extension as an extension instead of a
.htm extension. Try it with the image's filename :)

You're right I have tried the corresponding notes to the
words but I have worked it out wrong or I am going about it
the wrong way.....

You've got the right idea. I guess you've just got the wrong
notes. They spell a real word.

try using what it says in the caption and see where it gets
you

the answer you type into the url is always lowercase and
only contains letters or numbers.

i'd have thought that putting the word "lyrics" into the url
would have given it away!

Level 42....

I'm shocked there is no reference to Mark King lots of
numbers!

I thought I had it straight away and it spelled something on
the phone like 1-800-GLUE (4583) but I think I am barking up
the wrong tree again.

43 is a reet bastid. Once you get it it's really simple but
then you think "how the fuck was I supposed to think that
one through" despite the fact that you just did :)

fill in the blanks... i have no idea what to do next.

anyone care to drop a clue?

offline xceque on 2005-06-07 14:06 [#01625651]
Points: 5888 Status: Moderator | Show recordbag

I started out thinking about flies too but that led nowhere.
So I thought about imagery and zen gardens... stone in the
sand and all that. Turns out that all that is irrelevent.

The clue is 'zipper'. Think geek once more like level 40
