Brilliant film. I just love the atmosphere, and the story is
great too (although obviously initially confusing like every
Lynch movie.)

He has a new movie comming out btw.

open your eyes is a great movie if your into lynch. not
vanilla sky tho....i'm informed it's about as much fun as
going to watch your mum's autopsy on christmas day.

vanilla sky sucked really bad - even has the cliche anti
climax.

I don't believe you. What is your take on the meaning of the
Winkie's scenes, for example

?

Well I'm not one of those elitist types who scoff at those
who are confused by the movie, because I didn't really
understand it at all the first few times. However, this
website (amongst many others which share the same plot
theory) sums up what I gather from the movie (although I
still don't understand many of the details.)

Yes I've read them. The main story is pretty easy to get
your head around but its the details I'm talking about. Such
as the significance of the Winkies scenes.

It's a very good movie indeed, I find it quite eroticly
tense throughout the movie, probably has something to do
with all the sensual red colors, intimate acting/voiceacting
and the tension between Diane and Camilla that eventually
escalades into a lesbian affair.

On a sidenote; I watched "I <3 Huckabees" last night, quite
a movie too. I think you should see it if you haven't.

Oh right. Well I've never understood those. I just claimed
to understand the main story. :)
