XLT Boycott

the other day i posted that i was leaving XLT, because i
was bored of it, some of you replied, most of you probably
didn't care. but i popped back on earlier today just to see
if there was any interesting news etc about musics or
whatever, and all i see is a petty playground bitch-fest.
this place was cool when i first became a regular poster,
but recently things have got so out of hand and pathetic,
you just think whats the point.

the two main problems seem to be idiot posters and nazi
mods.

i think everyone needs to take a step back and take a good
look in the mirror. if the 'problem people' behaved the way
they do here in real life, they would get a good hard kick
in the balls, and i would do that myself if i had to.

i am asking that other decent members boycott this place for
at least a week in protest of the behaviour of certain mods
& members respectively. decent members have left already.
maybe with a weeks boycott the dumbasses left here can beat
the shit out of each other till their nothing but bloody
pulps

end.

you're lucky mate, half of the members will join this
boycott for a week anyways while they're banned :)

Somewhere there is a haven for those that seek refuge. They
need to be voted upon.

that's nonsense. the new mods were working out great and
the only people complaining were the ones who were part of
the problem. there's no reason for the good members to
leave xlt.

heh... i'm actually tempted to do it.

if i'm not banned on a whim (to quote his own words)
by Jedi Chris before that, like epohs just was...

yes, i saw that and thought it was fucking desperate, and
jedi chris is a total insecure pussy. i'm sure i'll get
banned for that, i'm going anyway so i couldnt give a shit.

i agree.

it's just that "boycotting" a messageboard doesn't make any
sense. it's meaningless.

i care about it a lot as well...

it's not about leaving xlt definitely, it's about a boycott
to protest against what's wrong. if the community just
sucked, there wouldn't be a topic or an announcement about
it - we'd just leave and forget about it.

yes it does, as uzim said, its a protest. i'm only
suggesting it because i give a shit, i do like this place
overall, and would like to come back properly, if and when
this place gets back on form.

Let's just all get along. Who know's the second verse to
Jumping Jack flash?
You know: [1st] 'I was born in a crossfire hurricane, da
daaaa daa daa daaaa daa daa daaaa daa daa daa daa, [then,
2nd] I was [unintelligible]...' - I wish I knew that bit.
Such a fucking good tune.

I'm not sure how effective leaving the board is as a form of
protest. Maybe a balck banner over your avatar?

Sorry, thought I'd try to lighten the mood (by changing the
subject). (I would like to know that as well.)

I think it would help everyone if we all just forgot about
it. Everyone has their own idea for a solution and there are
bound to be people who are always dissapointed. Just chill
it out. It really doesn't matter. We know whom all the
shit-stirrers are (actually I think I remember you, i_x_ten,
making some pretty reprehensible comments - but let's not
get into that, I don't want to cause trouble).

Why can't we just unban everyone under the proviso that we
all just forget about it and talk about the fucking quality
taste in music we all share. Which is pretty much the point
isn't it? Might say a lot that there's so much intercine
conflict amongst people who like this 'type' of music.
Certainly hope it doesn't though. :)

I can't be arsed to give a shit, sure some bullshit went
down here and there but thats interweb life. As long as
theres music, theres us, together, strong. would you like
some more cheese or should I stop here.

yes, this is nonsense. the new mods are doing a good job in
my opinion - as long as threads (if they're *stupid*
[WHAT??!!] - but not nonsense ["fuck" / "shit"]) are closed
as opposed to deleted entirely.

I have just come out of being banned and sure I was a bit
peeved but a boycott is absolutly ridiculous.
