I will check these later on when I get home. I usually
really like your music so I'm looking foward to it.

I'm quite enjoying this one. I like everything except for
the mix.
it's all too flat. the drums don't have enough power. the
pads need to be wider. the melodie should come up front a
bit more and have some more high frequencies.

i like the track very much - the drums production, the
ambience. very good.

one hint, i would work on panning maybe, putting the pads in
a larger "space"

do you mean a stereo esq effect?

yes...some kind of stereo enhancer...to put parts of the
beat in different parts of the "room", you know . well, i
heard the track in my headphones, so...i'm saying obvious
things, sorry.

this is a really nice track! The drums are very nicely
pieced together! I liked the way you made "pumping"
compression on the entire thing (unless my ears are
deceiving me...)!

is it called new reason 'cause it's made in reason 3.0 or..?

I had to download this baby. Very nice stuff here. The
general feel of it is really quite nice. It seems to refresh
you just from listening to it. There's nothing really I
don't like about this track. Excellent Job!

obara: i try that

drunken: thanks, its called new reason because i had to call
it something, also i made it in logic :)

raz0r: thanks

it does have a flat mono feel to it. i do, however, have
incredibly crap headphones here at work. some of the drum
sounds sound like stock reason samples, but i've been wrong
before. overall i think it reflects your natural knack for
tunes and it's a very pleasing track. i wish it developed a
little more though, it sounds like it's going to unfold into
a lush epic but it just drifts down the stream and then out
of sight.

thanks for listening :)

re: drum
the logic sounds are pretty similar, i also got a beat
sample from somewhere on the net. i have got a 7 min+
version which goes into a pad/string piece but i havnt got
the space on zebox :(

seriously, if i had the cash i'd pay for a zebox membership.
unfortunately my page is going to lapse at the end of june,
i can't spare the $20 to keep it up (sounds sad, but i just
bought a house and it's going to be tight in order to make
it happen).

my point is mostly, i'd really like to hear that longer
version! what about mp3.com.au? they allow longer tracks,
don't they?

I am downloading now. I would probly listen to a lot more
stuff by people if they mentioned what programs they were
using. I don't want to hear any more reason or fruityloops
wankfests, honestly, but I am totally open for logic,
cubase, protools... etc.

Hmmm. Its alright. Kind of generic sounding. I don't think
your drums weren't pronounced enough, like some people have
said. I just think you might want to compress your ambience
a bit, so that it doesn't outvolume it.

In other words, I thought your drums sounded fine, but your
ambience was too rich.

im still new to logic so im learning as i make each track,
so the generic sound comes from making something you know,
for comfort

just listened again this morning, i think i enjoyed it more
the second time around. if the ambience is too rich then i
like it when the ambience is too rich.
