Is anyone else into this quirky electro/miami bass stuff?
I think its awesome, maybe we can discuss it and shit.

Dare to talk about electronic music on xltronic???? HOW DARE
YOU!

Yes I too am a fan of the soul oddity "tone capsule"
releases. I love their work as phoenecia, I love this work
as soul oddity. I was recommending it to people years ago
and just got the same sort of reception as you got from this
topic. 10 years after its release it still sounds awesome.

I am glad this place is getting a bit more variety lately. I
used to make threads about phoenicia and richard devine, and
the only responses would be "what do they sound like?", or
"I think I have heard of them. They're wierd arent they?".

I love everything by phoenicia. One of my favorites...
definately.

there are just too many releases. there isn't enough time
to even listen once to every release that's coming out, let
alone albums that slipped in under the radar ten years ago.
but soul oddity is very good, i think the cd is still in
print and i still spin it from time to time. it's very
different from most phoenecia, has a strong party vibe. so
here's a bump for soul oddity.

have you heard the warp magic bus track sunset condor?
Suprisingly, its not for headphones, but it sounds amazing
on a good pair of speakers.

Hello. This is a really great album that is much better than
boring stuff like Brownout and such. Thank you Maty
you are my best hero.

I swear, Fabien, if you ever say something like that
about "brownout" again I will remove you from your country
and give you to the Americans.

You don't want to do that because I'm over here and I'll
fucking EAT him for speaking poorly of Brownout.
