We love mixed martial arts however.

Zzzz. One of the most crushingly boring motorsports IMO.

Nascar,
TOCA,
WRC,
or
British Superbikes are my favs. I do, however, like the new
Chinese circuit, that looks the bomb.

meh k1 is a bit lame imo, boxing is tougher (not just 3
rounds for instance, also it basically comes down to
kickboxing, im not the biggest expert though)

There isn't a boxer alive that could go 3 rounds in this
tournament. I prefer UFC and Pride rules to K-1, but
preferr all 3 to boxing- and I'm a big boxing fan.

UFC is the best in my book. I do feel there is a slight bias
towards grappling and submissions (compared to real no holds
barred fighting) in shootfighting and similar style
competitions, but it's still very good and a good indication
of who is a better fighter.

I also agree even the best boxers would be torn to bits in
it. I'm definately of the opinion Bruce Lee could of had
Muhammad Ali in a fight.

I think Pride has a deeper talent pool than UFC- but I love
fights in the octagon.

I've never seen a shoot fighting competition, but love the
technical aspect of submission fighting and ju jitsu. Once
you understand that they aren't trying to fuck eachother
when they're rolling on the canvas and know the difference
between an arm bar and a kimura the sport takes on a whole
new dimension that makes boxing seem simplistic in
comparison.

Pride is far better than UFC, the no head kicks rule is
crap.

You can head kick- just not a downed opponet.

I think it is funny that Pankration nearly became an
exhibition Olympic sport for the Greek olympics and then the
Olympic board saw it.....

It's really less brutal than professional boxing where a
fighter gets knocked the fuck out and as long as he can
stand before a ten count they let him get knocked the fuck
out again- not to mention the 300plus brain rattling jabs
boxers endure each fight.

The blood is what turns alot of people off about mma.

Ok, that was wrong!!!!!

I like UFC, but probably prefer K1...... just a little
cleaner technique wise...... I was watching muay thai with
my Dad last night.... beautiful :)
