I made a topic about this show many months ago and nobody
cared. I still expect nobody to care.

Anyway, is there even one person here that followed this
show? It's the first TV drama I've been compelled to
follow... ever. I only watched the pilot because I have a
fetish for desert island stories. Didn't expect a show about
40 people getting stranded on a magic island with monsters
and spirits to be any good, but somehow it's been great and
the characters are super duper. John Locke + me= luv 4ever.
What IS the deal with that guy, anyway? What's his game?
WHAT'S HE UP TO AND WHY DID HE REGAIN THE ABILITY TO WALK?

The season finale was tonight and like any worthy
adventure/fantasy show, the cliffhangers were plentiful,
insane, and maybe a little silly.

American what? The new Green Day album?

And seriously, what IS at the bottom of that ladder? Some
kind of bunker? A mine? A Minus World? Restless nights ahead
until next season.

My girlfriend watch it and I've seen some parts of it but I
really couldn't stand it. Sometimes I can see "through" the
actors and that happens a lot in this show.

It is starting to be like a soap now...the writer really
digs far to get some "educational tools" in the program,
which I don't like at all.

I think the idea behind it all is very good, but this is
stretched out way too much imo.

I don't watch the show, but I read somewhere that the
writers have no intention of ever revealing the "secret" to
the island....... they'll just keep everyone hanging on.....
nice hook.

I watched it sporadically. Well, enough to follow the plot
anyway. It's got some fairly interesting moments. I hate
how they didn't really resolve anything though, reminds me
of the way a soap opera.. neverending cliffhanger. I think
the two hour summary that they ran a month or so ago was the
best episode they've had so far simply because it contained
all the important plot points without all the fluff that
fills 95% of each episode.

Overall, it's very frustrating, but done just well enough to
make me interested in watching the next show.

P.S. Kate is perfect.

It definitely goes too far with bizarre coincidences and big
soap opera elements and angles, but I love how over-the-top
it is. I like to scoff, scoffing is good for you. The
characters are key for me, Locke and Sawyer being really
hard to figure. Some moments of real pathos and soul, too, I
liked the montage near the end of the finale or everybody
getting onto the plane.

I think they've done a good job of squeezing as much drama
and peril as they can out of a situation that could easily
just be ''how do we get off this island'' every week? That's
almost like an afterthought now, you know the guys on the
raft are fucked.

Ive been following the serie and i think it has been a good
one though i really hate how they don't really care about
the "monster" and all the weird stuff going on in the
forrest, but just ignoring it and going on about some
irrelevant issues. It just doesn't seem realistic to me.

i've been following it ophecks. the whole stranded on an
island with freaky shit happening is pretty cool. the only
thing that really pisses me off about the show is...just
when your about to learn something they cut to commercial
break, or to a different scene. wtf. i know its just a way
to stetch out time but sweet lord. thats gonna get old real
quick. the last episode this season was aight. Esp the
teacher getting blown up by the DYNOMITE! he was annoying
anywho. I bet when the next season starts, they're just
going to try to make rope to lower someone down the shaft in
that containor they found. i bet that'll take up the whole
season...wonder if the dynomite damaged the ladder that was
in there too. hmm so many questions and now
answers...actually fractional answers. i'll still watch
though

*possible SPOILER*

that whole "there's a new sheriff in town" shit was a bit
ridiculous. and the previous episode with charley getting
smacked by locke. it's all a bit silly. i want to see more
of the others, discover the island's secrets and so on but
instead it focuses on the people's petty problems. i'm still
super addicted though.

Haha... hmmm... funny this topic gets bumped back up, seeing
as I don't even watch the show anymore. What happened was, I
missed one episode by accident... then two... I thought I'd
just wait a bit and then catch up in bulk via a big torrent
or something... then I got kind of overwhelmed and I'm so
out of it now.

I've caught a few episodes here and there, and I still think
it's a great show... but it's so daunting to catch back up.
And it never feels half as cool as when you're following the
show ''in real time''. Fuck.
