I recently saw Mononoke Hime but it wasn't too special. Not
bad though. It's rated as top 100 or something on IMBD.

Neon Genesis Evangelion

BEST ANIME EVER!

I love that

I am a fan of the random funny sci-fi anime's

tenchi muyo
maps
magical girl pretty sammy
gunsmithcats
outlaw star
cowboy bebop
golden boy
video girl AI

Kite, Ninja Scroll, and Ghost in the Shell, Akira, Perfect
Blue for the more serious ones...

I really want to get the Lain series, that one looks
awesome!

You (IDM) whores would love Armitage: The Third and I
cant believe no one has mentioned it yet. Kiefer
Sutherland and Elizabeth Berkley
did the voices for the
main characters.

Only one person has mentioned the best anime series ever,
BERSERK! It is by far my favorite series. As far as series
goes, Neon Genesis is my second favorite. I would like it
way better if they didn't have all that cutesy crap in it
(my apologies to people who like cutesy anime) and kept the
dark tone throughout. Cowboy bebop was enjoyable, but there
wasn't too much on going plot; it was more episodic in
nature... As far as movies go, Perfect Blue is absolutely
phenominal, Akira is amazing and Ghost in the shell is darn
good. I really enjoy Ninja Scroll because it's entertaining,
although it lacks the depth of the other films. I hear the
sequel sucks too.

I didn't really like Spirited Away...

soundtrack.

Evangelion, Berserk, Oh my Goddess!, everything by Miyazaki
and Takahata, Tenchi Muyo, Irresponsible Captain Taylor,
Vision of Escaflowne, Cowboy Bebop ... ^^

Miyazaki and Takahata-works: Totoro, Laputa, Spirited Away,
Mononoke, Whisper of the Heart, Pom Poko, Porco Rosso,
