it's the best album ever released! 4 years and it still
sounds totally fresh and amazing!

Hehe, discuss if you want, while I was clicking, I thought I
would read an old discussion! =)

Yeah, its realy good, especially if you play some of the
tracks in 33rpm! Then you got like the coolest beats ever.

I was searching for info about the limited release...

hahaa.. that "imo" thing can end any discussion before it
starts.

very well.

(maybe the best.. erh.. "idm".. album, but there are albums
that are kind of better within their own genre)

better overall, than any release by autechre or
squarepusher, in my opinion.

what an awkward joke. i'll give you the benefit of the doubt
and presume it would've been funny in norwegian.

hahaha!

only if I say it like this guy from oslo I used to go to
class with...

it wasn't meant as a joke. the hahah was there to make it
milder, as the initial sentence could seem like "yoo ar
stoopid."

Any time you say something sucks around someone who
disagrees, they try to validate their taste in shitty
music/movies/clothing by reminding you that you still only
speak for yourself, as if their opinions are in jeopardy of
being monopolized by your own. Everyone already knows it's
my opinion by virtue of the fact that I said it, no need to
restate the obvious you dopey twat.

hmm, im not sure about that one..i've heard lots of afx
music before but never put to much attention into it..i'm
not sure which was my first aphex album (could be saw2), but
im certain i bought autechre album before i bought aphex.
and just before i got into hardcore electronica i was
listening to mostly trip hop kinda music, and lots of old
deetrit techno - jeff mills in particular..after discovering
susumu yokota whom i loved i read quite a number of reviews
where they compared him to aphex twin so that's how i
finally put the attention it deserved into his music!

it doesnt sound dated and theres so much to listen to, esp.
including playing some at 33rpm. vordhosbn is possibly my
fav rdj tune ever and most of the piano trax are
breathtaking for me too, so... overall excellent album.. one
of my favs.

i never give a big chance to drukqs.

yeah, drukqs was my first aphex album (after hearing 26
mixes at my friends place). i was looking at shops for any
of the selected ambient works, cos i liked the first cd on
26 mixes, and i thought that that's what saw sounded like,
but i couldnt find any so i got drukqs... and boy, those
first few tracks : D

yeah yeah, i havent been on lately cos with soulseek, ive
downloaded everything ive by afx, and now i need a break. so
i came here. its all good fun (better make the subject
drukqs related or my post will get DELETED)
theres a shop (the only in melbourne, australia) which has
drukqs on vinyl, but its 95 dollars, and 95 aus dollars is
40 pounds. which is alot, dammit.

"Drukqs", "Vocal Studies & Uprock Narratives" and "Veni Vidi
Vicious" formed the holy trinity of my cycling music in
Japan. Every day I cruised around Saitama with these albums
in my md player. Played them too much though haha

I bought Saw 85-92 in a Kyoto record shop and I rented
Drukqs from a Video/Music Rental shop and dumped it to my
md. I wish cds could be rented here. Phooey
