Damnit, i can't go to the glade

I am teaching in Romania this summer and will have to miss
the Glade for the second consecutive year, as it overlaps
with the start of the teaching period :(

However I do want to go to a festival and am currently
weighing up two options.

I could I either go to the Version festival in Newcastle -
where the line up looks pretty amazing - Version - or
I could go to the Exit festival in Serbia where the line up
looks, ahem, slightly less amazing - Exit

Anyone been to Exit before? I've never been to a festival in
another country before, so I'm not sure what to expect, but
it'd be convenient for me cos I could get the train to
Bucharest from there straight aftwerwards.

wow, Exit has a rather eclectic mix there... why wouldn't
you go to the version one?

I voluntarily taught English in Romania last summer, and it
was one of the best things I have ever done. It wasn't a
career move, and when the opportunity came up to do it again
in a different city, I jumped at the chance.

And I made the right decision - as good as the Glade would
be, it doesn't compete in the slightest.

Because I think the Exit would probably be more *fun*,
rather than a lot of beardy strokey action.

oh, well that's just about preference then. i would go to
version, but you would probably pick exit. haven't you
answered your own question, then?

True, I really just wanted to find out some people's
experiences of previous Exits.

That's too bad, guy. I'd go to exit and bugger off round
eastern europe for a bit or something.

p.s. have you got a spare glade ticket now? or didn't you
order? my mate might need one, sorry :)

No, sorry.. I'm selling my ticket to one of my mate's
friends, as he doesn't want to go by himself, otherwise I
would happily have sold it to you :-)

The fortress? Literally.. a fortress? My mind has been made
up.

Roll on Glade 2006!

Both look good to me. Depends on whether you like Autechre a
lot I think.
