I've always fancied the Vostok suitcase synth. V. pricey for
what it is and poorly made to boot,

Still, love the styling and some good sounds.

I wore an avatar with one of the Vostok modules. A bit
modified though

telephone - it was this way how people canned headphones in
soviet union. Either 'golovnyye telephony' (head telephones)
or simply 'naushniki' (eartops, literally)
I think it means a jack for headphones.

i've got this record, its full of ANS [old russian] synth &
weirdos trx (think gwarek2 from druqks), really weird but
nice; while listening to it you might think you're locked up
in some russian asylum at night...

those russian guitar effects suck
but maybe so does every boxed (non digital) phaser, i think
you always hear the melody with a phaser woosh on top
