Im sure this must have been discussed up the yin-yang

Why is there a Parental Advisory sticker on the cd?

"cunts" its barely legible though and its all distorted. the
censors must have keen ears if thats what they slapped the
sticker on for

I meant to say audible, and I didnt find that it was at all.

I thought it said "Come on your taut 8 bit sassies" for the
longest time before I came to this board.

""cunts" its barely legible though and its all
distorted."

Put it this way, if I wouldn't dare play it with my mom in
the car, then it certainly must be legible and not all
distorted

Lol!

nevermind the swearing, children listening to 'druqks'
should be considered for some serious treatment.

sure, it was zappa who fought, tooth and nail, the
introduction of Parental Advisory stickers and censorship in
the music industry...

similarly, faith no more: angel dust has a parental advisory
sticker. i don't know of any bad words on that album, except
in the track title jizzlobber.

also i believe nirvana: incesticide has a sticker. why?

the point of it is so that corporations who only want to
stock "family values" cd's won't buy the ones with the
sticker. it is worse than censorship - it is black-listing.
if artists want their cds to be sold by walmart (the
biggest seller of cds, i think), for instance, they have to
make it fit whatever guidelines walmart has and edit the
content. otherwise walmart says no and they lose the
biggest portion of their market.

yeah, walmart does that. which is why i suggested rdj+warp
make a walmart version of drukqs which uses

"Come on your taut 8 bit sassies"

instead. and brokephones should get a cut of the sales. :)
