nice album, haven't heard any of their other stuff. stayed with a mate for a few weeks, he got into this around then and played pick up the phone on repeat so many times. jesus christ i think i never want to hear that song again. |

This is a really good album. I picked it up for only 25 cents and at first I only liked a couple tracks ("Pick Up The Phone" and "Pilot"), but it really grew on me. Now I think every track is great, except for maybe the title track. I'm going to purchase the 13 & God album soon. The mp3 of "Men of Station" on the Anticon website sounds good. |

the Notwist album before this one, called "shrink" is even better. it's more melancholic but has the same inventive use of electronics combined with a "regular" guitar band. and 13&god is good too. yarr. |
