I'm going to the new york ae show later today, and I might record... I want to know the best place to stand and any settings I should have on the MD (input volume, whatever else). I have a small stereo mic, nothing spectacular, and a NetMD recorder.

get pretty far but not too far from the speakers. pretend your ears are the microphone but much more sensitive.
