Ophecks' rather awful music

I'm ashamed of it already, but I put it on the net, so you
might as well listen. I'm very new at this, so I tend to
really suck. I'm a little better now, I'll put better tracks
up someday.

Using my first name, a la Brian Eno, Peter Gabriel, Ricky
Martin, and the other musical greats.

just got through list'ning to drumnbass - i liked the
beginning melody rather a lot... after about 1m20s, why not
use a calculation, or randomness, and silence snare drums at
the interval thus attained?

Where did you get all those nice samples from !?

i like the simplicity of the first two tracks best. from a
starting point, you do a decent job of imitating the timing
and tone of Aphex, which is better than just directly
imitating the music.

the piano track is pretty crappy.

the piano

the piano

I liked the first one, it was similar to the level in
goldeneye 007 where you're in that one park and have to find
that statue and meet that guy... The sound was weird, sorta
glitchy.

Haha, no way, I love the piano track! :-)

Most of those tracks were made within my first three days of
using Fruity Loops, so I had no damn clue... hence the
horrible distortion, I had no idea how to master it and
everything.

I think ppl dont like the piano tracks cos of the awful
piano samples that u get on fruity loops.... goto
freesamples.de they've got some good ones on there i think!

Well thanks for listening, anyone who did... and I checked
out freesamples.de and got some quality grand piano samples,
thanks! I've never used a sample from outside FLoops yet.

I wish I had more time to do music... I've got a bunch of
unfinished little melodies and beats, song snipppets, but I
can't find the time to finish them. Maybe this week I'll
back into the swing of things, I have a week off from my
college.
