spamming an idea.

idea.

it's...mostly together. but i was just curious what people
thought. because i'm a total wanker like everybody else on
this board. and i need encouragement. excite me. motivate
me. give me handjobs.

...or something. just tell me what you think thus far.

...or something.

i'm going to the grocery store now. i need chips for my
salsa. because i'm hungry. and stuff.

p.s. who else is really out of their head?

i like the way it starts, like the amorphous parts. if you
could make it a bit crisper...
i'm not so into the melodic parts. just doesn't really grab
me.
maybe if bigger beats came in. more intricate melody.
otherwise, maybe just drop all the rhythm and melody and
keep it like the beginning. bring in more thrashing insect
twittering, machine wrestling sounds. like a short sound
effect track.

i don't know. just rambling here.
tired, so tired!

so. weird last couple of hours. kindof. wandering around the
city at night is neat. i ended up a few miles from my house
at this coffee shop and saw a few friends i haven't seen in
like a year. and then i ate a fish burrito at this
twenty-four hour mexican place across the street. maybe you
know coffee break, hardware? and beto's? yeah. and then i
was wandering home and got a call from my ex-girlfriend. and
she was on a date with some dude. and...yeah. it was
awkward.

anyways...thanks, hardware. yes. i've been doing this off
and on for like...hell, i dunno. four, five years? but i'm
lazy. and i only make a track or two like every six months
or so. i use pretty much exclusively fruity, but...yeah.
well. that. basically. and as far as SLC? uhm. it's boring
as hell here. i go to monk's for karaoke on wednesdays and
saturdays, and drink cheap beer. and then more cheap beer.
and local shows? uhm. the only music worth checking out is
agape. he's like the locust...but better. and he has
breakdance showdowns during his set. ryan powers = a god.

p.s. omfgi'msodrunk.thistookmetwentyminutestowrite.

truth or truth, if there were more boobs in here you'd all
be all over this shit. oh, sadness.

I'm dl'ing it now and I will give it fucking good listen.

I think people get put off listening to works in progress
sometimes. Though I dare say promotional boobs, real or
implied, wouldn't hurt matters.

Well I really like it, it goes well looking out of a rainy
window and billowing smoke. It sounds like the opening track
to a great, dark album.

It's not wanky +10 points
It doesn't outstay its welcome +10 points
Some beefy old sounds in there +8 points

I'd like to hear what would follow it up, it sounds like an
intro, though a good one, IMO.

no, i understand. i'm much the same way. kindof hypocritical
like that. but. meh. i demand satisfaction, nonetheless.

p.s. i'm glad you've hung around. oh, the potential
memories. and look! even mr. modurbater, now!

Do you use one of those Audiobulb synths in there, or am I
talking complete bollocks?

i don't think i can answer that question honestly, honestly.
alls i know is pretty much the whole thing is manipulaitions
of these neat samples i came across of the roland sh101
(which i should like to invest in, money restraints aside).
so uh. if that's an audiobulb synth...uhm. sure. if
not...uhm. then nope.

Ambsace, I don't think i'm anyone to tell you what's wrong
the music I just heard. I will not get into stupid
production details...so i'll just keep it simple: I didn't
like the track, the sounds, the ambiance.

The beginning was the best part for me.

I'm ever so sorry, but then i'm angsty and mean so what do
you care?

my internet humour sucks, apparently. i really couldn't care
less, i was just wondering if there was any specific reason
you didn't like it. and now i know. vaguely. thanks for
listening, though. cheers.

richard_E_grant , what a fucking COOL IDM name, it's like
Richard E Grant from your favourite films "Withnail and I",
and, well he's not done any other good ones, but I like the
guy, and then Richard D James (AKA AFX) and
Grant Wilson Clarridge (or something) (AKA IG-88,
Black Disco, head of Rephlex) and E in the middle
(Ecstasy, drugs, drukqs etc). It's very fucking neat.

Shame he's evidently such a cock.

ambsace said: "just tell me what you think thus far."

Maybe i lack tact but then i was just being honest. I'll be
nicer from now on when i care to review music from this
board. I think i'll even pray to like it.
