"The first season currently ranks as the all-time
top-selling TV show on DVD."

Woah.

Comedy central are just racists, that's all. I've been
planning on buying the seasons on dvd.

there are lots of rumors running wild. someone on howard
stern said he just converted to islam and feels some of the
footage shot is 'questionable' due to his new religious
beliefs & whatnot.

who knows?..

In December, the network said that Chappelle's Show was
behind schedule after Chappelle fell ill, forcing the
network to postpone the expected February debut of new
episodes.

doesn't "ill" usually mean "abusing some substances"?

I heard that he had a new season filmed but C.C. was
delaying the airing of them to milk the success of the
previous season(s)...? Anyone else hear that?

offline epohs from )C: on 2005-05-12 09:14 [#01596092]

The magazine said Chappelle had shot four to five
episodes’ worth of sketches for the new season, but none
of its onstage introductions.

"...there's also no word on the reported Rick James
biopic for Paramount in which Chappelle would portray the
late R&B wild man.

i personally dont find him very funny

i watched the entire first season and only like a small
handful of parts

i generally think he is too relaxed in his delivery, i like
comedians that are more energetic like chris rock or martin
lawrence

is a loveable huggable black man.

The rest of you guys are just too white to get 'black
humour'.lololol

sorry.

good riddance, dave chappelle funnier than chris rock? i
highly doubt that.

Comedy central is going down the tubes

with shows like - Con, hollow men, Distraction, Wanda does
it, Blue collar tv, Shorties watching shorties, and mad tv
im surprised Comedy central still has a following. To me it
is near unwatchable.

$50M paycheck for two years of funny sketches is a lot of
pressure on a person. Comedians are self-admittedly an
insecure bunch. Not a good combination.

good article innit? doesn't really give a full insight into
what's going on with him - but in this case, i don't think
anyone that paranoid and stressed is going to be giving out
100% candid, revealing interviews..

sad case. hope he gets himself sorted out and back on the
air.
