I find that i continously read Monoid threads. I must say "bravo" to the user that operates that account. In actuality, all the threads and posts are relitavely the same. It wasnt always like that though. One day when i was bored waiting for a magical phone call i randomly went through posts to see if they were all so predictiable. They werent. I think it was sometime around 02/03. I wonder what prompted the change and what the user behind the account is looking to accomplish. Upon reading the posts i dont feel as though "monoid" has any sense of depression that would be considered 'serious'. I feel that perhaps boredom and better yet lack of direction has run rampant in the users life leading to boring posts that are repetitive in nature. Almost as though there is not one original thought going on. Then again perhaps i am wrong. Maybe the user finds himself making these threads on impulse. Not able to help himself just as i myself am lured into these threads. Maybe this all acts as some sort of abstract social commentary that i dont get, but somehow reflects on our shortcomings and inadequacies? Then again it could very well be a bored twenty-something. |
