I still have all my Legos, and I may start on a new ''Jungle
Warfare Base''... I used to be absolutely BRILLIANT with
Legos, big, huge, complex superstructures, my own design.

I wonder if I still got it...

my little cousin has these really cool Lego kits where you
build these animorphic fighting machines out of Legos... but
doesnt that defeat the purpose of using your imagination
with the legos?

I always threw away the instructions, and went all out with
my huge monstrosities!

ya those new-school lego sets with all the specialised
pieces suck...
they take away creativity, theres only like 1 or 2 ways of
making something that works with 'em...

the old school lego was much better.. no preset model to
make.. just big, creative.... "monstroceties" :)

that's the cool thing about legos; unlimited possiblities
for construction. as it's incorporated into early childhood
development, it yields increased productivity in adulthood.
anyway, that's my theory.

My nephew has this book about legos and the people who work
for this one part of the company get to build replicas of
major buildings and stuff around the world, out of thousands
of legos. that must be a pretty cool job.

Muscle Men!

Were these only released in the UK? They were 100's of
different little (1"1/2) plastic characters who looked like
weird wrestlers.

They were dirt cheap too, 10 for a £1.

Unfortunately, I sold all mine. The character designs were
re-used in later models of inferior quality (looked as
though they were made from amateur casts of the originals),
but only some of them and they were more expensive.

I had some jars full of green slime(Ghostbusters). I would
put the slime all over my face and scare people. Those were
lots of fun but you couldn't keep them very long because it
began to stick to your hands and you had to scrape it off...

Legos I still have a big box full of those pieces, little
green military toys with which we made killer battles, this
may sound weird but we would steal these little white tubes
from the constructions buildings near by then we would made
these darts with paper and shoot the crap out of each other.

Lego and Star Wars here as well! I used to keep all the Lego
in a massive box, and used to wake everyone up early on
Sunday mornings, rummaging in it - looking for that
particular shaped piece!

lctroboy, you should go get yourself some Lego, and see what
you have missed! Better than stones and kittens!
