The thoughts for this post come from I have no problems with the Mods that we actually have. The ones that actually show up and are an actual part of the community but come on. Some of those guys listed dont even post here and dont even show up. Like havent been here in forever. Really, its a no brainer. Time for bed! I love you all. Didnt see that one. I'd really like to see people express opinions here. There has been a growing number of people leaving XLT and complaining that it is a "shithole". If people keep leaving then there will be no one. If there is no one supporting this community then it seems as though phobia is wasting his money. |

personally i think the problem is just down to a handful of people bringing down the quality of the board. all we need is constant moderation throughout the day. i think i said, mods from different timezones (a couple of americans/canadians & a couple of europeans would be fine imho) someone who is here all the time, someone with a sense of humour, but knows when to draw the line, someone who gives a shit about the music, someone who everyone likes, someone who will put their foot down and stamp on the heads of trolls. i'm sure & i hope this is just a glitch, rather than a downward spiral, i really do. |

Yup. I swear half the time i am on there are no Moderators on the list. Also i am not pushing for the New Seriousness. I want to make that clear. I want all the sillyness and clever humor that makes XLT great to stay. But its hard to find a vagina beautiful when it is covered in sores. The sores must first be removed. :D |

this is so tedious now. messageboards have moderators to make sure there aren't incidents like these. that's their function. this board, which is exceptionally prone to trolling, has no active mods watching over it. really, i'm sick of all of this. if it's just going to be a bunch of trolls running the place, there's no reason to stick around. |

Sometimes i think that could help. I do know that the last time i spoke with JAroen he was busy with school. Its been a while though. I would like to see alexfarmer return. Sky was always a fun one to have around. When you think about it Skyfarmer was more tame the JAroen. Plus i think his original account was banned for BS reasons. |

We seriously have no trolls here. With the exception of a few dipwads (lol @ dipwads). I wouldnt even consider CT a troll, trolls tend to have a cult following if they operate correctly. There has never been one supporter of CT. |

there are more things that could use an overhaul... for instance, maybe finishing the design could be good.. it's just that phobs seems to want to do it himself even though he hasn't really got the time. He should let someone else finish it. If the design itself is done, all that remains is html code... I think a mod or two elected by the people would be good... he'd definately command more respect than one who's been chosen behind the scenes. |

Yes! Yes indeed! We must prevent the regulars leaving. It hurts. If all the fun leaves this place then it will be no different from the MU board. No offense to anyone there but it is a tad more serious. This place made me join because the humor was peaked when i joined and was lurking (01-02). It was something else and the running jokes were great. Over time it has dwindled. Although i am aware of ebbs and flows, this time is unprecidented in XLT history! |

Can we keep things peaceful please? You may consider the people in your thread trolls. Perhaps 5 or 6 of you consider me a troll. However, I am willing to stop the unfunny humour threads, post here only when sober, and refrain from doing things that may annoy people. I haven't had issues during the day either. (And no, I'm not trying to individualize this, I am only mentioning myself as you mentioned the thread you created last night.) |

Yeah. Trolls (in the classic sense) have a personality that they may try to get across. While CT does not. Example: MayorMcToilet, ChickenPasteman. even the profiles contain humorous things that tie it all together.... example: ChickenPasteman's homepage was KFC. The little details like that are great. Most people knew that CPM was a multi but no one cared because it added variety. This board will not function correctly if it is all serious music conversation. There are not enough artists that are worth discussing if you want to keep it on topic. The genre of IDM is too small. |

If you make threads and people attack you and you dont mind it then it is not a bad thing. Its a good way to release tension on a personal level and preventing "blowing up" in the real world. I view those threads as sometimes theriputic. Although i personally would have closed two of those that i was around here for. The other 1 or 2 i felt were legit |

NO!!! NO!!! The thing is that horsefactory gets it. That kind of stuff is really the norm here. It keeps the balence. Things cannot be the same. You have to admit, when dog_belch gets all hot and bothered about something.... he can bring someone down in the most gentlemanly way. The way he structures sentences is a joy to read. Not trying to kiss his ass or anything but i do appreciate it when people act foolish and he "tells it like it is" but in his own style. That man should get a badge or something |
