He probably thinks he is too good for you. He's nice like
that, see.

btw penexpers, could you give me some more details? I
haven't heard anything about this myself. Thanks. :)

dunno why some people go to forums to be miserable.

very frustrating how all forms of leisure can be made evil
by a few individuals.

Ah, I totally agree. Best thing is just to ignore it and do
what you want. Nobody is perfect and nobody has a right to
whine about other posts when their own are nothing but
depressing rude remarks...

Anyway, I'm going to this event, as well as the Planet-Mu
rave (the last Planet Mu event was increadable, so I have
high hopes for this one.)

Hopefully I can drag some friends out. They better not leave
early this time.

I want to go to Aphex Twin

Me too

I like Aphex

Me too

It's a shame other people don't like to go to gigs cause
twats like us seem to fill them

I know, how rude.

I hope he does his gradual descent into insane noise from a
more chilled out beginning. I love his gradual movement from
ambient-ish beats, to drum n bass/drill n bass type stuff,
and then into sheer mad noise. In terms of pacing and the
sense of a "journey" that you go through Aphex Twin is one
of my favorite artists to see live.

I went there to see Autechre live. Brilliant sound system,
lovely crowd, and a great venue overall. So, I have high
hopes for this event.

YES, so clever, he could have said slide, creep, fall,
morph, mutate, fade or drop but no, he used descent.
Such a good word to describe Aphex's DJ Journey.

I don't see what the issue is here, to be honest. It's a
messageboard about electronic music, and we're talking about
Aphex Twin live. Pretty simple, really.

It's an easily identifiable syndrome. Post Bollocks. Make
out that people who say you're posting bollocks are in some
way "humourless". Repeat for up to 5 years.

Yes, I like the way you made up the thing about Aphex
starting Ambient going DnB then Harsh NOIZE. Care to point
out any live/ DJ set where he's ever done this, or are you
just making it up?

cs2x, is it true that seone is the biggest nightclub in
london?

they say it holds 3000 how many were at autechre?

That's exactly what he did at the Warp Halloween rave, and
at the Rephlex rave at The Neighbourhood venue. The
Neighbourhood was especially obvious in the respect-half the
people left the room when he finished the "d n b ish"
section of the set and threw horrible noise at us. Perhaps
he was taking the piss, but at the time it was pretty
intense.

Now, I wonder what aspect of my reply you're going to be
really HIP about and take the piss out of?

Autechre had a lot of people, although I am unsure as to the
size of the venue in comparison to other clubs. All I know
is that it was one of the best I have been to, in terms of
the floor space and the sound. The people are always really
friendly at these events too, which adds a lot to the
overall experience.
