I liked Tubular Bells III, the "drum 'n' bass" version that he did.

William Friedkin said if he knew of Tangerine Dream first he would've used their music for the excorcist instead.

I love Tangerine Dream also.
In fact, Vangelis, Jean Michel Jarre, and Mike Oldfield all made wonderful albums in the 70s.
I don't know what happened after that.

Have you actually listened to any of his music? Or is it too "Old" for you to bother with?

yes, the first tubular bells is good, but hergest ridge is absolutely brilliant.
Ive got both on the original vinyl from my dad, and he prefers tubular bells to hergest ridge, but he's wrong Hergest Ridge is totally superior. Thanks for reminding me, I'm gunna listen to it when I get in tonight.
