OK, I was just reading random topics over the 50 odd pages of them. I really think that some people really have the wrong idea and I intend to put them on the right track. There are people talking about RDJ as if he was some fucking god or something, truth is that as soon as we find music we like we put the musicians on fucking pedastols and start talking about them as if they were celebrities. Does anyone here really think that the sun shines out of RDJs arse? It doesn\'t, he\'s not a fucking celebrity he\'s a musician, there\'s a difference, and this site isn\'t around to worship him for being rich it\'s just to say cheers for making good music. Phobiazero: right???? If I were him I\'d get pretty fucking pissed off if someone saw me in the streets and wouldn\'t leave me alone. He\'s a dude that makes good music and that is about it. Putting sand paper or whatever in a food mixer was for a laugh. Some people are getting far too analytical, this music doesn\'t have much theory behind it. That\'s good coz thaat makes it more flexible. Comments??? |

yeah, i agree. i use this site mainly because i can talk to people about issues i am interested in, like music and the production of music. i do tend to get annoyed with the posts from people who would like to live in mr aphex' pants. |

Afx is celebrated because his music is as simple as it gets. Everything is pristine- no wobble, no dust, no newspaper flapping about. I do think he lacks strengh in melody compared to squarepusher but i get to grow my veggies thanks to the rays out of his arse so no complaints here. |
