He has a cool haircut, wears sandals, and goes to a Greek
Orthadox Church.

His music is mysterious and powerful, and is a lot like dark
ambient. Without any synths (so I guess it's nothing like it
then, but you know what I mean.)

While you're at it, have a listen to Avro Part too. His
stuff is more mathematical and "pure", and helps me to get
to sleep while giving me dreams of angels and gothic
Cathederals.

Yes.

Be warned: it contains operatic gregorian freaky singing.

Arvopartmania on Xltronic

Fur Alina is so insanely beautiful, as is everything I've
dug up so far. Do you like Bela Bartok?

Yup, I am Hungarian and I love the culture and the folk
music there, so Bela Bartok is a favorite composer of mine.

My favorite work by Arvo Part is "Passio". I probably prefer
his stuff to Tavener's, although his "The Lamb" is really
sublime minimal stuff.

The Christian connotations don't really bother me at all.
