well i'm in the aftermath now... i spent all last night and today writing this research about this writer Tim Robinson who left the london visual arts scene to go live in the southwestern coast of Ireland... basically he spent his time there obsessively mapping the landscape, by walking along all of it by foot, recovering all sorts of old gaelic place names and stories and such... just a really interesting writer i guess, talking about folklore and cosmology in the same thought... of all the books i read this semester his was the most imaginative, despite the fact that it was non-fiction essays about mapmaking... anyhow... that's that, mattressman, er, um... woman, as the case may be...
