haha you made me smell a cd-r too... well, um, they have a very subtle smell, so subtle i can't tell whether it exists or not. by the way, this reminds me of another messageboard where there was a discussion about whether with milk start to smell like urine after a while or not. by the other way, which kind of syrup were you talking about precisely? |

Not mine, mine smell extremely boring. I just smelled several spindles, new and old (I store some rarely used data CDs on old spindles if I'm too lazy to put them in cases). They smell very clean, though. |
