I thought this was going to be our opinions about who is the
greatest man alive--but I only thought that after I realized
that the thread was NOT called "greasiest man
alive.'

I cannot read!

Being awesome. Imagine if an angel descended to earth and
decided to be a cross between Toby from American Splendor,
and oh I dunno, Max Tundra perhaps, wiht a sprinkling of
casiotone for the painfully alone.

dude, you seriously *are* missing out. ok i'll try to
explain:

ok, so some tv news guy voice says "dan deacon is with us
today". first thing you see is some super nerd, balding dude
with elton john glasses. in front of him is shitload of
wires and electronic crap, including a mini keyboard.

voice: "dan, let's here some music..."
dan: "hello."
voice: "good morning..."
dan: "it'll start in one second."
voice: "1."
(no music)
voice: "2."
music starts

it sounds like some built-in demo song on some shit
keyboard. really silly beat and with some accordian type
sound. dan gets up and starts dancing. it's all about the
fingers. he's playing along now with one hand on the
keyboard. then he starts singing, a bit like elvis only
spooky. something about "that dog, that cat that little tiny
maaan". he's sort of got a choo choo train dance move where
he chugga chuggas with his arms as he sings. then he flicks
a switch and he's singing along with a pitched up version of
his voice which sounds pretty fucking cool. it's like the
most angelic/demonic sound you could ever imagine. back to
the part where he's playing along on the keys. "WE'RE
TALKING PAPER CUTS AND", something about a helicopter...?
more silly voice... keys playing... he sort of looks like he
might throw up, the way he sings. then he's twiddling knobs
and shit, and it's the most advanced glitch/idm you've ever
heard. then they fucking cut him off for commercial and it's
the most sad thing in the entire universe.

that's because you have normal linux and i have glitchylinux
(and i barely understand any of it). i guess i don't
totally blame linux, even though it doesn't let me install
mplayer for no apparent reason, since i'm not knowledgeable
enough to make it do the things i want it to.

Is he Joey's brother?

The organ riff he did was quite good. The rest wasn't
anything special.
