The movie premiere here isn't until juli 27th(!), so
there's plenty of time to finish. I might have to get the
English version. I've read that once and I know this Swedish
version is losing jokes in translation.

I've seen the trailers a hundred times and it bugs me that I
now place those faces into the book, instead of the ones I
had imagined before. Like my Ford was white before and he
still is sort of, but I keep thinking that he's black in the
movie. Arthur just looks younger now, I always imagined him
like the (bad)cartoon on the cover.

Oh well..the book is still cracking me up. Especially the
Vogon poetry part and that other guy who had the next worse
poems in the universe. Arthur and Ford have just been picked
up by The Heart Of Gold after spending 29 seconds in space.
The guide says you can survive for 30 seconds, if you hold
your breath.

you ought to read all 5 books to get the complete story,
they are all great books.

There's so much in the book that they possibly can't convey
in a movie. Phrases like, the ships hung in the air, much
like bricks don't. Descriptions of things and so on..

I do like how the movie looks in the trailers, but I don't
expect it to be what the five books are. That's impossible.

Oh and Zaphod has two heads, or two faces. They're on top of
each other. One hidden where his throat would be..it's in
the trailer.

i hope Random will be in the movie. its not in the slightest
bit likely, but i can dream. i'd love to see that guy from
the cave who keeps reincarnating in the movie too.

i can only say i read a newspaper article which is the
foundation for my solid trust in the director & producer.

no film can ever be as good as the book, so let's not try to
llook at it that way.
