A nice little ambient/noise release from German Ekkehard Ehlers.
The cd version contains all 10 tracks which were originally released seperately on vinyl.
Some similarities to T. Hecker, Fennesz, and Pita. The tracks vary quite a bit, but in pairs. There are 5 people in which 2 tracks are based off of each. Not sampled though, it's actually just a reference. The group includes Robert Johnson (Blues/Rock n' Roll Guitarist) Albert Ayler (Free Jazz Tenor Sax Player) Cornelius Cardew (British Composer, assistant to Stockhausen for 2 years) John Cassavetes (American Independent Filmaker) and Hubert Fichte (German Homosexual Author)
There aren't any samples on boomkat :( but here is Ehler's little info page on the Staubgold website.

That sounds pretty great. I've only got "soundchambers", that thing he did with those other two dudes whose names escape me, but it's really lovely.
I will endeavour to hunt this one down, i think.

yeah, this album was pretty wikki... it's been a while since i've given it a listen, but my favourite track will always be the second Hubert Fichte track, featuring the afor-unmentioned lilting guitar stylings of Joseph Suchy (one of them dudes from Soundchambers)... gorgeous gorgeous track...
