The first review, despite being short, made my head bleed
and I couldn't finish it. The second one, I don't think he'd
heard the album. The third one was ok, but fuck me, I really
can't stick anymore florid prose on the subject Ae.

"The Cape Canaveral from which their wild electronic
orbit launched back in 1991, electro still has vestigial
impact on Autechre’s hyper-processed signature"

surely ALL reviews should be like this..!

it's only half of the sentence.

you'd think that might be the reason why it took you so long
to figure it out.

funny thing is - the full version is even more perplexing.

From Q magazine:

In the 12 years since their debut, the hugely influential
Incunubula, Autechre have cut an increasingly
individualistic path with their meticulously programmed
electronica. More frentic than their last release, 2003's
Draft 7.30, much of the archly-named Untilted find them
upping the BPM and employing their fractured beats to
dislocating, often teeth-grinding effect, with little in the

way of melodic diversion. The snatches of treated crowd
noise in Pro Radii catch the listener unawares, but most is

all too predictable and ultimately finds Autechre stuck in
an experimental rut.

After all this I feel I should state how much cock I suck on
a weekly basis. My home number should anyone want to offer
there meaty piece: 0xxxx xxxxxx

Tom Doyle

2 stars (out of 5)

I added the last sentence for colour.

it isn't broken, it's off.

and there's already a beta that seems to work fine and it
would be implemented really soon and then nothing happened.

being patient isn't a good thing on xltronic, it's better to
forget the concepts of "patience" and more importantly
"expectance" on xltronic.

didn't bother reading this review, i don't like most of them
anyway. saw untilted at the local shop, and actually the
artwork isn't so bad when you see the real thing. so here's
my review on the album art:

Exasperatingly, exponentially, Autechre's most recent
effort, "Untilted," heeds the audacity of modern electronica
without the wasted seclusions of delirious imagery and
illusion. Providing the viewer with a pristene clarvoyance
of insight, the album's cover appears honest and
forthcoming, while the reverse is vacant of all but the
tracklisting and legal type. Assuming the contents of the
interior are similar to the blah blah blah blah blah blah
blah and makes it a worthy competitor.
