ok so like i totally finally figured out what i'd been
thinking since i saw this ARC-170 pre X-Wing fighter ship
for Ep. III

you can see that they kit bashed a Northrop P-61 to build
this thing. its pretty much the same hull w/ moderate
additions.

i'm ashamed that i found nothing of this info when i googled
it. our geeks aren't doing their jobs.
