It's too short, but ok it's not finished.... I like it, it's like getting up on a frosty morning and looking out the window, brrrrr, i like the playful beats nicely mixed in, I like the gentle melody, I like the overall effect, it's brisk outside but the fire's on indoors and a very nice glass of brandy would be there too if this track gets finished off. I think I could dig this Lemon Tree side of the usually more abrasive artist Roygbiv. |

just thought i'd post and let you know that i listened to both tracks a few times. i don't have much to say, but the tracks are decent. neither is really finished but they're good starts. from what i gather you've switched from more breakcore sort of stuff? well good luck with this new style. nice start :) |

i also listened to this right after you posted it... i like this sound a lot, but i have noticed that in these songs and in some of your recent breakcore stuff, there has been sort of a pattern in song structure that i don't particularly care for. the songs start off normally and then start "rocking" with the intense part, but then quickly go back into the mellow part. it's ok to do this once in a song, but really, there needs to be much more rocking. i can't get into it for long because i know that it's just about to stop rocking right away. so my advice is to have more rocking and work on structure a bit. otherwise, it sounds great. ps - "lemon tree" to a tri-state area resident (like me) might remind them of the cheap haircut salon chain. ;) |
