Hello you silly lot you. I'm going to be brief. Here's a new track. It goes kinda mental in places but generally does as it sets out to do (please the ear), well hopefully. Please give it a listen :D |

that 'mental' modulation of volume is annoying in places. otherwise its a very nice track. |

It's pretty decent :) The only thing that bothers me a little bit is that for the last couple of tracks you have posted they just sound like different versions of the same track. Carry on down this path and you will end up with a good track, but what then??? PS I dislike the gating and the heavy handed use of the VST effects. |

hmmm well I will say that this track kept surprising me over and over again...but then I started to expect that it would surprise me and it lost its surprise. I really do like the melodies and the ending is a nice bridge, I think if you made it just slightly more stable and had just a little more variation, it would be a kicking track. Also if the gating was a bit more controlled I think it would add more to the track. Nice work, show us some more! |

i do like that slow drone at the start, that continues throughout - it has a really nice timbre. some of the beats fit it really well, some not so well. perhaps more ideas needs to change than just the drum beat, like adding more ideas that tie in with the change in emphasis of the beat. a B section would be nice :) but it's all up to you. all in all, a good track to continue with and refine. |
