has anyone ever seen stereolab live?? they are here next
month but its rather costly... just wondering if it'd be
worth $50 hard earned bucks

I saw them live in San Francisco with Mouse on Mars!!! (dots
and loops tour) At the end both bands jammed together -
excellent! Stereolab seemed to be having an off night - but
I don't really know since I've only seen them once. I still
think its worth the $ if you're a fan.

I would pay $100 canadian to see BoC in a second. I would
actually fly to europe and make it a trip if I knew I could
see them live.

Just seen them last week at the Royal Festival Hall in
London supported by Brigitte Fontaine (spelling???). They
were really on form, $50 sounds a bit steep tho?? Make sure
youve listened to Sound Dust Album if you do go. Fantastic
toons!

i saw stereolab open for sonic youth in 2000, they were just
amazing. why are tickets so costly? sounds like a "festival"
ticket cost to me - who else is playing?

Isn't the exchange rate about 2 AUS$ / 1 US$? When I saw
them in 1998 I paid $20 US. So $50 doesn't sound too outta
line.
