Bass rules
I got a pair of Sony MDR-7506 headphones for xmas and the low frequency reproduction is incredible. Vordhosbn and Ziggomatic have great bass on drukqs.

never noticed the bass before 'cause i'm always listening on my small jvc cd playa with blown speakers.
i'll check that shit out on my mdv-v500s later.
i love it when the bass is so deep it feels like your insides are gonna colapse.
oh yeah!

Well maybe Vordhosbn wasnt the best example
The 7506's go down to 10hz according to spec. Not that the human ear can hear much of anything below 20 hz anyway...or so i've been told.
Sennheisers are definitely the best way to go, but, alas, are out of my price range.

http://www.stereoheadphones.net/
is where i got mine (since we're on the topic)
yaeh they can reproduce to 10hz, but at such a minute volume your ear will never pick it up,, your ear will hardly pick up 30hz with headphones, the air volume isnt there, to move.
etc ne ways,,
yes dips way low, in the 20's on many many tracks

When you getting as low as 10Hz you're rapidly approaching Brainwave level...all that Alpha, Beta, Theta lark....
Smother me in bass, mother...
Panasonic play around with this sort of thing a lot....
and thinking about it more...2 Hz = 120BPM.... Frequency = Rhythm...
I could go on and bore the lot of ya...

2 Hz = 120BPM
How do you figure? would you mean 120cycles per minute? im pretty sure thats what you mean
but a true BMP (beat) can be any range of bass

2Hz = 2 Cycles per Second...
So 60 * 2 = 120...
hence 120BPM (or cycles per second)...
Cycles/Beats are really the same thing (at a basic level)....
