unfortunately, i spend a lot of time working a shitty shitty shitty job at a well known corporate fast food soul eater. all day, i work in a kitchen with a bunch of fucking haircuts listening to the killers, the bravery, franz ferdinand and other poular wank-fest bands. i've tried blasting them with vsnares, datachi, merzbow, hecker and other noisey things, but it doesnt piss them off half as much as their music pisses me off. WHAT ELSE CAN I DO>??? i'm thinking something along the lines of really cheesey one-hit wonders or shit dance tunes from years ago.....any ideas? |

i like the killers myself but i can understand that you don't and i recommend u to insist with Merzbow ; that's why i did with a friend of mine who used to listen only to hiphop and hated noise at first, but now he really loves ! |

noise is too easy to tune out. that's your problem there. i suggest making a special cdr. take each of their favorite tunes and loop the worst part of it for five minutes with no variation. be sure and emphasize the absolute worst bit of each track and point out that that part is integral to the song that THEY like. i think they will hate you more rapidly then. |

you could have no music. and the bands being played could be a lot worse... those you mentioned are not that bad... if you want no music... just complain that you are offended by the music they play. mention sexual harrassment (hostile work environment) and your employer will shut that shit down. |
