New Gang Gang Dance album has been released today. I
still have to go for a run, but after that I'm heading down
to the record shop to pick it up. I'll update later and give
my review.

Hell yes! This is way better than the last GGD album. I'm
only about halfway through, but so far it is very groove
oriented and dance inducing. Much less "noise" oriented than
their previous stuff - but that's not a bad thing at all.
This is their breakout album. Expect to hear much more about
them now from more mainstream media outlets.

I would, but I'm was not sure of the exact distance, so I
ran my normal route instead. However, my cardio vascular
system (or my legs) has still not recovered from my race on
Saturday and I about died trying to complete my run.

Yup - Listening to it now. You may also be interested in
Terrestrial Tones "Blasted" which is an album by Dave
Portner (Avey Tare) of Animal Collective and his roommate
Eric Copeland of the Black Dice. Not "musical", but really
interesting. Almost like a non-electro based IDM sound or
something.

I just ordered this album - it's called "God's Money" by the
way (didn't see anyone mention the title). Also ordered
"Suspended Animation" by Fatmômas (featuring Yoshitomo Nara
artwork!) and "Lettuce Propelled Rockets" by DJ Vadim and DJ
Woody. Uhm, and I got a haircut today and bought some nice
shoes yesterday.
