Ræggi.

It's another loop-jam with me and the amazing reverse delay
pedal that turns into a sampler. This time, it turned out
kind of reggae-ish, and I have added some drums and
bass to make it a bit easier to follow... I know I fall out
of sync a lot with the organ, but it's just 'cause I got so
caught up in playing that I forgot to listen to the beat. no
cutting in the organ.. it's one take, and all improvised.

I'll probably work this thing into a complete song in the
future, btw... more on-beat and with a different part that
relieves this constant thing it is now, but it is a
loop-jam after all (It'd be great if someone else would do
stuff like this too, 'cause it kind of gives a look into how
people make their music).

oh, and the upload may have bugged again... if it stops
before the organ is done, it's fucked.

just listened.
not much like reagghey, and this is good as for me. i don't
like raeggie. Of course this is not a finished track mostly
due to the simple drumbeat which diesn't variate. At this
stage you are the person who enjoys this music the most
because you remember all the process and feelings you had
while playing.

thanks for checking!

yes, Acid is the only sequencer I use, but when I record
stuff I actually have to quit acid and go into soundforge,
which means I can't listen to stuff while I record...
there's some fuckery with the soundcard...

yeah, since we're interviewing Mastah....have You worked
further on Quiz ?

sound forge ? what about wavelab ?

no, nothing further on quiz. It's hard to think of things to
do with it... I'd have to invent a new part or something I
think...

I don't know about wavelab, but the thing is that with
soundforge I can cooperate with aicd in a way.. they store
files with information along with the wavs that makes each
file load faster.

i see...yeah, it's like those .pk files going along with
wavs in cool edit.

another question : what's that "some fuckery with the
soundcard... " ?

the sound card is PURE crap to say it straight out.

got lots of hiss (got to do noise-reduction on everything I
record) and I can't play back and record at the same time.
it's an old comp and an old card, so...

those tracks that i've heard from You so far don't sound
that bad. anyway, a decent soundcard is a must. i think You
can afford some cheap Soundblaster or...

this is a cheap soundblaster! hahaha!

the thing is the comp is so old that newer cards wouldn't
work in it.

I will get a new comp, but for now I need to save my
money to be able to pay some driving-school stuff.. I never
had money for a driverse-license before, and I never really
wanted one either, but it suddenly became necessary.

haha, i see :) i agree, driving license is necessary.

my soundblaster is also cheap, heh. i hope my mate is still
going to sell his SB, a bit more expensive version :)

a bit more 'cheap' ram would help i think

I'm definately getting a pro soundcard and a new comp
once I've paid the driving-school!
