The Beatles, The Free Design, Harry Nilsson, Freescha, The
Smiths, The Soft Boys/Robyn Hitchcock, those are the truly
elite. Eyeless in Gaza, Aphex Twin, The Strawbs, Robert
Wyatt, Curt Boettcher, Tuxedomoon, The High Llamas, Gram
Parsons, Al Kooper, The Rolling Stones, those are the
semi-elite.

it's a shame it's so hard to get to know music like this
unless they put it on tv like in your case, or if someone
recommends it like it was in my case..they never play his
music on radio overhere and i haven't came accros any
articles about him in domestic music magazines or tv..

-ive always really liked their stuff

francis bacon

i am hard pressed to give directors or anything affiliated
with movies or motion picture as im not really a visual
medium type of guy - doesnt float my boat or gets me all
into it as other art forms.

autechre, lfo, fatboy slim, lemon jelly, avalanches, martin,

i never think about the movie directors, and i am literally
amazed that so many people here do. if i like a movie i'll
watch it, who cares who the director is?

recreating a story.

I care because it's like music. If you like a musician, you
buy all their records. If you like one movie, you find out
who the director is and you watch all of their movies
because you might like the others.

as for movies i liked some stuff by scorcese (after hours,
king of comedy, mean streets) and spike jonze of
course..cant really focus on directors
