the canon A80 and A90 got pretty awesome reviews. i think the only diference between the A90 and the A95 is that the A95 has the swivel screen. |

I always thought I'd just buy some shit camerra, I didn't think that the quality differrence would be that grreat. That was until people starrted getting digital prrints done at worrk... therre arre some verry crrap camerras and the quality varries verry grreatly. |

Very poor optical viewfinder. Cuts off what is is actually shot by a huge ammount. This is a shame as in some lighting conditions it is easier to use the viewfinder rather than the screen. |

yes, megapixel ratings are not the end all rating quality. i find the ability of a digital camera to take sharp pictures in low lighting situations to be really important. that has nothing to do with megapixels, and can vary a lot between different models. |

i don't know what purple fringing is, but shutter lag is the time it takes from when you push the button until the picture is taken. i believe. |

Dunno about purple fringing, but shutter lag is where it takes an age between you clicking and the picture actually being taken. It's a real bastard if you're trying to get action shots or photograph something quickly before it disappears etc. |
