Getting away

I'm tempted to book a holiday in England just to get away
and rrest my mind forr a week. Frree myself of music and
books and family prressurres etc... to get a bit of
perrspective. I'm talking about any of this finding myself
bullshit.
My only fearr is that in prractice it'll just be rreally
rreally bloody borring.
I was just wonderring if anyone's trried it?

i mean, where would you go and what would you do? just end
up drinking on your own and watching tv. and you can do that
at home :)

I've done it before and I have found it helpful. i just
took lots of new music with me and chilled by the sea for a
few.

yes, and it worked perfectly

twice

once i went to vermont to visit my brother and ski, get
away, etc - i only told my mom and no one else - i had just
recently been dumped by a girl who i dated for 4 years - it
was exactly what i needed - up in the frozen north with very
few people around - it gave me a whole new perspective on my
life and my heart ache

another time i went to the bahamas and wasnt really dealing
w/ any issues besides just wanting to get away from my life
for a while - its a great thing to do cause you learn to
prioritize everything and it somehow hits you in the face
that you need to focus on what really matters

i suggest everyone do it!
