[DESERTS] California, San Diego

Hi,

Remember last year when I planned to go into a desert near
Los Angeles... I've asked to you what to do and someone
(who?) suggested to bring my army mens. So I did it and this
was the result: = Joshua Tree National Park - CACTUS ATTACK=

This year, I'm going back to California but this time I'm
looking for a desert near San Diego.

I need 3 advices from you guys:

1) Which desert must I visit near San Diego ?
2) What artistic project should I do ?
3) Any extra advice ?

Thanks
Hetzel

organize a generator party in the desert and get cool bands
to play.

I hear the Borrego Desert is nice. Thats the one name that
comes to mind... Never been there before though.

You should fuck around the border too. Its highly
politicized and generates some internationally recognized art projects

i'd probably hate being in a desert in real life, but often
in my daydreams i wish i could live in one (we all have
times when we're glad to be alone or wish we could be
alone)... in the desert, the moon, the oceans... all
gigantic places that are fascinating somehow, maybe because
of their "emptiness" even though it must rather be intensity
in real life...

Hetzel that is fucking great! i love it.

and generator parties are cool until BLM rangers come to
raid you, but even then its still pretty fun, if they let
you go.

a generator party at a desert campsite. now theres an idea.

I remember this! You really did it! OMG!!! That is the
coolest thing ever!

I really like some of those shots!

How was it in the desert? I've never been in one before. It
seems like it could be desolate but at the same time very
refreshing.

I went last year, end of may... the weather was "tolerable"
and the fun was really there, trust me :D

We were the only ones on the road, we stand up in our
convertible car taking pictures and fresh air.

Smoking spliffs between huge rocks... and getting lost

Gin tonic made by the mouth

Sunset thru the montains

Thanks also for those suggestions...keep them coming.

I went to this desert art festival before the
rich hippies from Boulder took it over.

Like camping on the fucking moon.
